PomInvest - Investment areas in Nowy Modlin, Special Economic Zones included in the Warmia and Mazury regions.
PomInvest is a project for the expansion of investment areas in New Modlin, implemented by the Pomiechówek Council. We have attractive investment areas located in the immediate vicinity of Warszawa-Modlin Airport, just 40 km from Warsaw city centre. The PomInvest project focuses on attracting investors to the rural areas of the Warmińsko-Mazurska Special Economic Zone and in the Pomiechówek suburbs. The result of this new investment will increase the potential of inhabitants finding employment in the area. In December 2013, we added 179 ha of land located near the airport to the Warmia and Mazury Special Economic Zone. As a result, investors who are active in the Pomiechówek area will benefit from special discounts and preferences. The Warmia and Mazury Special Economic Zone (W-M SEZ) covers an area of 1,364.7 ha of land intended for economic investments. Apart from good infrastructure, favourable location, and the possibility of a wide choice of land, the main incentive for investors is the local Council assistance.
Businesses which operate with a permit in the W-M SEZ, have the right to benefit from public aid in the form of income tax exemption. This benefit is available for two categories:
- For a new investment.
- For the creation of new jobs.
The business has full freedom to choose their category.
